Seneca Regional Port District

The Seneca Regional Port District is located in Seneca, Illinois also known as North Central Illinois, 65-miles southwest of Chicago on the Illinois River.

The district covers an area located within the Illinois-Michigan Canal Heritage Corridor and encompasses the Seneca I-80 Railport, a 555-acre business park and a 465-acre Railport; two industrial parks and three industrial TIF Districts.

The Seneca Port district has bond financing capabilities and other inherent strengths include but are not limited to the following: a skilled and plentiful workforce, excellent transportation network, available sites for expansion and competitive cost structure.

This port town offers river access by way of the Illinois River, rail access through CSX Railroad, and road access via Interstates 55 and 80.
